Every thirty seconds

                we are new,

we feel the entire world vibrate

                and within this quake

                 there is you.

Your eyes are crystals balls,

                     what do you see?

                      you say I am swirls,

                      I am glowing purple,

you say you are looking at

Magic.

Can I be magic?

 My skin is a quilt.

 Not bereft of color,

 shining royalty,

 velvet purple.

When we really love someone,

         we love them in rainbows

         light bending through a prism

         a hologram of wave-particle energy,

         both physical and not,

         redundant and unspoken of.

Every thirty seconds

    a different still life

    a new sketch illuminated

    in full spectrum,

    conjectively every color.

Cool grays blanketing a sink

                           full of dishes

                           undertones of blue.

                           Orange, yellow,

a warm flame on a candle

                           or many,

                           burning with the goal of

Empty.

We are burning,

 every thirty seconds,

a deep red, shading darker with each pass

a hue living beneath our skin

 tinting our movements, our breaths.

When I love you,

           I love you in rainbows.

           Blending your red and mine,

           undertones of blue,

           glowing purple

           entertwining every thirty seconds.
